Mark hails from the west suburbs of Chicago, IL, and as a kid growing up in the Chicago area in the 90's, it makes sense that he would be a diehard Michael Jordan – Chicago Bulls fan.  Although Mark wanted to be an architect as a kid and throughout high school, he decided to study mathematics education at Taylor University in Upland, IN which is where his Hoosier roots began.

Upon graduation, Mark spent seven years teaching mathematics in the United States and overseas in The Middle East in the tiny country of Qatar.  During his time as a teacher, Mark met his wife, Kristin (a native Hoosier) who also was a teacher, and she is now a full-time stay-at-home-mom who helps raise their two kids, Madelyn and Samuel.  After moving back from what Mark and Kristin call “The Sandbox,” they ended up settling down in Noblesville, IN.  During Mark's time teaching in Noblesville Schools in 2016, he began exploring other careers that would leverage his passion for educating others.  During his search, Mark reconnected with a friend from college who was a financial advisor after seeing a Facebook post that read, “I PASSED”.  Curious as to what Mark's friend was referencing, he decided to reconnect and engage in conversation about changing careers.  After learning the process to become a financial advisor and while recognizing the need for educating others on financial planning strategies that he himself received from his college friend, Mark decided to leave the traditional classroom setting and joined AXA Advisors in 2016.

Mark credits his time as a teacher for solidifying a lifelong passion of his to educate others on a myriad of topics, whether it be financial strategies, playing board/card games, how to snowboard (Mark's Winter jam activity!) or why Michael Jordan is the GOAT.  Mark's passion for educating his “Financial Family:” with AXA Advisors, LLC can easily be traced back to his seven-year career as a mathematics teacher.  While my content is different along with my clientele, my desire to educate and serve others remains the same.

When I'm not at the office or in meetings with my financial family, you will find me running, snowboarding, reading, building puzzles, playing games and/or watching the Chicago Cubs. I also enjoy serving at my church in multiple roles with my wife, Kristin. Kristin is a 5th grade teacher at Traders Point Christian Academy. Kristin and I met when I was a teacher, which is another reason why I am thankful for my time as an educator.

David is from the small town of Paoli in Southern Indiana. He grew up on a cattle farm where he learned responsibility and the value of hard work. Growing up, David spent most of his time participating in sports. He played football, basketball, baseball, threw Shotput and Discus for the track team, and competed as a weight-lifter. David was All-State in two sports in high school and helped lead his basketball team to the state finals his senior year.

David attended the University of Indianapolis and studied Physics & Chemistry. While in school David was chosen as a Resident Assistant and Presidential Assistant. He served as Secretary and then Vice President of Student Government. He also participated in several intramural sports programs. While at UofI, David led a cooperative program between the University and The Indianapolis Motor Speedway that employed a group of college students to act as liaisons for VIP's and celebrities who attended the Indy 500, The Brickyard 400, and the Formula 1 races held at the IMS. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from UofI in 2003.

David taught high school Chemistry & Physics for one year before a chance meeting with an old acquaintance persuaded him to pursue a career as a Financial Advisor. He worked in brokerage for seven years in Southern Indiana. Most of that time he knew he wasn't in the right role with the right company. He found his permanent home with AXA Advisors in Indianapolis in 2011. David has been a part of the RBG in Indianapolis since then and has received two DSF of the year awards in his branch. He has been mentoring new Financial Advisors since 2008 and was offered the opportunity to move into a managerial role as the Indianapolis Branch was being re-established. David chose to pursue the opportunity in management to help others launch a career in Financial Services. He is passionate about helping others and enjoys helping new Financial Advisors launch their careers. David has received a tremendous amount of support over the last several months during this transition into management. He credits Chris Noonan and Amine Rizk in Texas and Tina Booze and Eleonora Anastasia Sciopu in Indianapolis for support to help him reach this milestone. Most of all, his family has been tremendously supportive. His wife Autumn has even started working with him in the office part-time.

David and his family currently reside in the Noblesville area northeast of Indianapolis. He and his wife Autumn will be celebrating their 16th anniversary this month but have been together since they were in high school almost 25 years ago. David and Autumn have three young daughters, Charleigh (age 11), Camryn (age 8), and Chayse (age 6) and son Cruze (3). David and Autumn are sports enthusiasts and have been Indianapolis Colts season ticket holders for 14 years. The family enjoys spending time in parks, going to Colts games, traveling, playing games, and going to their local YMCA.
